Trezõr® Brïdge®

Secure Crypto Management — Local Bridge Service
Local • Private • Verified

Bridge your browser and apps to your Trezõr® device — safely and smoothly.

Trezõr® Brïdge® runs on your machine as a minimal, trusted intermediary. It enables web wallets, portfolio tools, and desktop applications to communicate with your connected hardware device while ensuring private keys remain isolated and every signature is approved on-device.

Privacy-first

All communication is local — Brïdge does not proxy requests through remote servers. Your signatures and approvals happen between your app and device only.

Verified signing

Every transaction and message is displayed on the Trezõr screen for independent verification before you approve it.

Cross-platform

Installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux with simple automatic update options and system tray integration.

Developer-friendly

Clear local APIs, origin checks, and example SDKs help developers integrate Trezõr support securely into their apps.

How it works

  1. Your web page or desktop app opens a connection to the Brïdge service on your machine.
  2. Brïdge verifies the calling origin and forwards the encrypted request to the connected Trezõr device.
  3. The device shows human-readable transaction details and requests your physical confirmation.
  4. After approval, the device signs locally and Brïdge returns the signed data to the app for broadcast.

Brïdge is strictly a relay: it never stores your private keys and does not transmit them off your machine.

For Developers

Trezõr® Brïdge® exposes minimal local APIs designed to be secure by default. Developers should:

  • Authenticate and verify the calling origin before forwarding requests.
  • Request minimal scopes and keep sessions short-lived.
  • Show clear UI prompts and instruct users to verify values on-device.

Example SDKs, code samples, and best-practice patterns are provided in the official documentation to speed safe integrations.

Security recommendations

  • Only download Brïdge from official Trezõr sources and verify package signatures.
  • Keep your device firmware and Brïdge up to date to receive security patches.
  • Always verify addresses and amounts on the Trezõr screen before approving.
  • Run Brïdge on trusted machines; avoid public or unmanaged systems.

Troubleshooting

  1. Check that the USB cable is fully connected and the device powers on.
  2. Restart the Brïdge service (system tray or background process) and reload your app.
  3. Inspect browser and OS permissions for local socket connections.
  4. Reinstall Brïdge from the official site if problems persist.

Privacy & data handling

Brïdge minimizes data exposure: it operates locally and does not collect or send personal data to remote servers. Diagnostic logs (if shared with support) should be inspected to avoid leaking sensitive information.
